Pictou Beeches

Pictou Beeches is a 27-unit co-operative housing project on the harbour in Pictou, Nova Scotia. The development offers a variety of unit sizes, with a high proportion of family-sized homes and select units designed for full accessibility. Distinct from most buildings that reserve the best views for private units, Pictou Beeches is oriented so that common areas enjoy the waterfront, allowing all residents to share in the scenic harbour landscape.

At the heart of the building is a central atrium, thoughtfully designed to foster resident interaction and build community. The project is targeting net-zero ready status, featuring sustainable elements such as rooftop photovoltaic panels and meeting Efficiency Nova Scotia guidelines. With completion expected in early 2027, Pictou Beeches stands out as an inclusive, environmentally responsible, and community-focused housing option for the region.
