Kentwood Place

Situated in the heart of Langford, The Kentwood is a thoughtfully designed six-storey multi-residential building providing 167 rental units to the community. At the core of the architectural approach is the use of pre-fabricated structural wood assemblies, including Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) floor and roof systems. This mass-timber framework is most visible on the sixth floor, where vaulted ceilings and loft-style layouts take advantage of the material’s unique capabilities to create airy, expansive living volumes.

The design integrates these natural elements with a clean, contemporary aesthetic. The building features expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that maximize natural light and connect residents to the nearby Royal Colwood Golf Course and surrounding nature reserves. Inside, the suites are defined by a sophisticated palette of matte black hardware, custom cabinetry, and premium finishes, resulting in a project that balances sustainable innovation with modern urban living.
